ALNWICK CASTLE

Alnwick Castle

Visit one of Britain’s most iconic castle, Alnwick Castle has been the film set for Harry Potter and Downton Abbey. It also has a very popular walled garden which is well worth a visit.

Located at Maften Hall, Go Ape is a great day out for all the family. In this tree top adventure you’ll be challenged taking on high ropes and zip wires, and there is plenty of photo opportunities.

With beautiful coastlines and the River Coquet, there are a range of activities available, including kite-surfing, canoeing, wake boarding, or wildlife boat trips to view grey seals.

SALMON AND TROUTFISHING ON THE RIVER COQUET

We have two miles of private fishing rights on the River Coquet. If you are keen to give fishing a try during your stay then our ghillie can give you all his tips on the best salmon and trout fishing spots.
