Guyzance Hall is a truly unique wedding venue where you can enjoy a three night weekend break with your family and friends in this stunning country house. Every couple looks for the perfect setting for their wedding and Guyzance Hall is one of Northumberland’s most romantic and picturesque venues with elegant rooms and immaculate gardens, perfect for those photographs which capture your special day.

When you arrive at Guyzance Hall on the Friday evening, your dedicated wedding co-ordinator will meet you and hand over the keys to the house and, just like the self catering breaks, you are then left to your own devices to enjoy the evening. In fact the Hall is yours all weekend to enjoy, the only time we take over is on your wedding day, taking care of your catering and drinks and ensuring the smooth running of the day.

With easy access from the A1, Newcastle airport (26 miles) and Alnmouth train station (4 miles), your guests can travel with ease from all over the UK and beyond.

Celebrate with friends and family all weekend

We understand that a wedding day can pass in a whirl for the happy couple, leaving little time for you to spend with each guest. A wedding weekend at Guyzance Hall gives you plenty of time to spend with close family and friends – why not relax the night before the ceremony and extend the celebrations to the following day.

The accommodation at Guyzance Hall is truly special, with traditional yet elegant rooms and all the facilities you would hope for. The Hall’s 12 spacious bedrooms can be allocated by you to whichever relatives or friends you choose plus the adjoining Garden Cottage is included in your wedding package, so you can accommodate a total of 29 guests. Further guests can be accommodated in the other estate cottages, ensuring they are also close by for the weekend.

Licensed for ceremonies

Guyzance Hall has several areas which are licensed for ceremonies, both outdoor and indoor. Why not say your vows in the pretty gazebo in the Walled Garden or on the top steps of the South Entrance Porch? Alternatively, the stunning indoor areas include the Edwardian Ballroom or, for more intimate weddings, the Drawing Room.

The main focus for your wedding day will be on the beautiful Edwardian Ballroom which, not only is licensed for ceremonies, but is also where your wedding breakfast will be served and evening entertainment enjoyed. The Ballroom holds a maximum of 100 guests and can be decorated by you to whichever theme or colours you choose. Our tables and chairs are carefully chosen to be neutral to match any colour scheme and we also work with Simply Bows & Chair Covers who provide covers and sashes bespoke to Guyzance Hall.

Fine dining for your wedding

Our caterers are incredibly proud of the food they serve and are constantly striving to produce the highest quality they can. We create seasonal menus designed to appeal to all of your guests and we aim to be as flexible as possible, so if you dream of a different kind of wedding breakfast, just ask us and we’ll do our best to grant your wish.

Our wait staff are courteous and professional, ensuring your guests enjoy the day each step of the way. We also give you the choice of opting for one of our excellent drinks packages, selecting from our extensive wine list or bringing your own drinks. We don’t charge corkage, just a service charge for our waiting staff to serve your drinks throughout the day. Your wedding package includes our evening cash bar, or you can have your own free bar.
